Orhan Cem Çetin

Was born in İstanbul in 1960. Photography appealed to him during his childhood. He made photographs throughout his school years, especially at Boğaziçi University where he studied psychology as an active member of the photography club. Following school years, he has worked at several fields as photographer, darkroom technician, translator, art director, sales manager and quality assurance manager. Since 1990 he has been running his studio Hezarfen Fotografya as a commercial photographer and consultant in photographic technology.

Having realized a good number of exhibitions and shows, both solo and in collaboration with artists from other fields, Çetin is known for his experimental approach to photographic material and multi-disciplinary attitude towards art in general.
